Mind in Pain……..

In the quiet, shadows creep,
A sudden weight that pulls me deep.
Heart racing like a wild horse,
Thoughts collide without remorse.

Breath feels trapped, the walls close in,
A whirlwind spins, where to begin?
A thousand voices, none a friend,
A battle where I cannot fend.

Hands tremble, mind fogs over,
The world spins like a rogue shover.
Time stretches thin, each second feels,
Like a truth that hardly reveals.

Grasping at calm, it slips away,
Caught in a storm of gray dismay.
Yet somewhere inside, a spark can start,
A whisper of hope to mend the heart.

With each inhale, a step to reclaim,
Though the journey is hard, I know I'm not same.
I'll ride this wave, though it feels so tall,
And find my footing to rise after the fall.
